My name is Dina Mulombo and motherhood has been my most valued role in life. I have four beautiful children and have been married for 23 years. They are the air I breathe.
The very truth of my existence was altered drastically on December 7, 2015. That’s the day my eldest child took his life just two days shy of his 21st birthday. He had been struggling with Bi-polar illness for seven years. He was and is the love of my life.
“Season of the Nightingale” is my story of attempting to reassemble all the broken pieces. And a testament that recovery is possible.
